I'm a self taught artist born and raised in Decatur GA., but my heart is in the "Big Easy", Les Bon Temp Roulee. I have a working studio in historical Lexington, GA., where I spend most of my time flameworking. My passion for the flame reaches back to my childhood, as a child I loved to play with hot wax amazed at how it flowed and could be manipulated into small figures. Now I spend hours at the flame in the same way captivated by how the glass flows. Currently I have my work in several galleries and participate in local exhibits. I continue to strive to master different techniques of this ancient art form.
Flameworking is a dance between the flame and the movement of the hand.
